I watched this report on NDTV when I was in Bangalore – apparently there is a huge shortage of beer in Andhra Pradesh, the fallout of a disagreement between the state government and the major breweries over a price hike. The Governement is not allowing the breweries to raise prices, and the brewers have stopped production in protest. As a result, millions of guzzlers in AP find themselves high and dry – the shortfall for the month of May is 2.1 million cases or 25.2 million bottles!
Suresh told me that beer and coding go hand in hand. If that is the case, it is time the AP IT ministry stepped in to protect its interests!
I was telling Vibhu about this, and he asked me why I hadn’t blogged about it – so here it is!
