McLaren and Kimi Raikkonnen sprang a surprise, taking away the pole from Schumacher on his home turf. But Ferrari are not far behind – they start two and three, while champion Alonso starts at number seven.
If Schumacher wins this one – and his present form indicates he has a good chance – it will take him closer to catching up with Alonso. More importantly, Ferrari seem to have struck the winning combination with their cars performing better and better with each race. If Schumacher and Massa do well tomorrow, it could put the Constructors’ championship well within Ferrari’s reach.
Well, I’ll still be in the Blogathon when the race happens – so let me see if i can write about it!
