Crossing the Indo-Pak Border on Foot – A Traveller’s Tale

Travel across international borders has a special allure. It is not often that it’s possible, especially if you hold an Indian passport, that you can cross an international border without a visa. One such place is the Kartarpur corridor. By a special agreement between two governments who are well known for not seeing eye-to-eye, Indian citizens can visit the Gurudwara Darbar Sahib in Pakistan without a visa.

My friend and superstar blogger (check out all the awards he has!) Atul Maharaj writes a detailed account of his visit to the Kartarpur corridor. The account is made all the more interesting with its focus on the human encounters between ordinary people of countries that traditionally consider themselves enemies.
